Apply for FCRA

Step 1: Organization Registration

Register as a Trust / Society / Section 8 Company in India.

Step 2: Open FCRA Bank Account

·         Open FCRA account at SBI, New Delhi Main Branch

·         No other bank allowed for receiving foreign funds

Step 3: Online Application

·         Apply online at the FCRA portal of MHA

·         Fill Form FC-3A (Registration) or FC-3B (Prior Permission)

Step 4: Upload Documents

·         Registration certificate

·         MOA / Trust deed  

·         Activity reports (3 years)

·         Audited financial statements

·         Bank account details

·         Aadhaar of office bearers

Step 5: Government Verification

·         Background check of organization and office bearers

·         Field inquiry (if required)

Step 6: Approval / Rejection

·         Processing time: 3–6 months (approx.)

·         Certificate issued electronically
